Mr. Sampson Ahi (MP), Deputy Minister of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, participated in the International Participants Meeting organised by the Association for the Horticulture Expo for registered countries participating in the 2027 Green Horticulture Expo in Yokohama, Japan.

Hon. Ahi, who is the Commissioner-General of Ghana for the upcoming Expo, was joined by Mr. Francis Thalamus Doe, Acting Head of Mission, Mr. Isaac Yankson, Minister-Counsellor for Trade and Investment, and Mr. Lord Nana Owusu, an officer from the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry.

The meeting was held at the InterContinental Hotel at Pacifico Yokohama from 30th June to 1st July 2026. The 2027 Green Horticulture Expo is scheduled to take place between March and September 2027 in the City of Yokohama, Japan.

Following the meeting, Hon. Ahi paid a courtesy call on the Ghana Mission in Tokyo on 2nd July 2026, where he interacted with members of staff of the Mission. During the visit, he assured the Mission of strengthening collaboration between the Ghana Mission and the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry.

The Ghana Mission in Tokyo expresses its profound gratitude to Hon. Sampson Ahi for his visit and looks forward to welcoming him again during the 2027 Green Horticulture Expo.
