EMBASSY OF GHANA ENGAGES TOKYO8 GLOBAL ON SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE AND WEST AFRICA EXPANSION

The Embassy of Ghana in Tokyo recently held discussions with Tokyo8 Global, a Japanese company specializing in microorganism-based biofertilizers and sustainable agricultural technologies, to explore opportunities for collaboration in Ghana’s agricultural sector.

During the meeting, Tokyo8 Global presented its plans to establish a regional stock solution and distribution hub in Accra as part of its expansion strategy for the West African market. The company highlighted the potential of its biofertilizer technology to improve soil health, increase crop yields, support organic farming, and reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers.

The discussions also focused on opportunities for partnerships with government institutions, agribusinesses, farmer cooperatives, research institutions, and private sector stakeholders involved in sustainable agriculture and food production. The company expressed its commitment to contributing to agricultural development, entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and job creation in Ghana.

The Embassy welcomed the initiative and reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating engagements that support investment, innovation, and sustainable economic development in Ghana.
